The present study has so far examined two key call/commissioning texts (Mk.1:16 and 3:13–15) and detected with in these passages core components of Mark’s portrait of discipleship: presence and practice. Both Jesus’ initial summons, addressed to the four fishers, to “come after” him (Mk. 1:17) and his appointment of the Twelve to “be with him” (Mk. 3:14) suggest that Mark’s Jesus enlists his followers primarily as companions as he proclaims God’s impending reign. Only through their presence alongside their leader do the disciples gain the requisite foundation for the second facet of their calling, their practice of proclaiming God’s kingdom as “fishers of humans”(Mk.1:17) endowed with “authority to preach and to cast out the ‘NIA’” (Mk. 3:15).
The investigation will proceed by following the narrative contours of Mark’s gospel as it depicts Jesus’ engagement with his disciples while they are “with him” as the platform for their practice. In this chapter the probe of discipleship as presence focuses on a peri- cope that is both indispensable for our understanding of the gospel and a veritable exegetical mine field: Jesus’ parabolic teaching found in Mk. 4:1–34. Though the story includes earlier reports of Jesus’ teaching and his use of parables, in Mk. 4 the gospel’s brisk narrative pace slows to a crawl as Jesus instructs his hearers through a sustained series of parables.

본 연구를 통해 지금까지 두 개의 핵심 구절을(막1:16과 막3:13-15) 검토해 보았으며, 이 구절에서 제자도(discipleship)와 관한 마가의 견해를 대표하는 중심 요소를 발견할 수 있었다. 바로 주님과의 함께있음(presence) 그리고 현장학습(practice)이 그것이다. 네 명의 어부들을 향한 예수님의 “나를 따라 오너라(막3:14)” 하신 처음 두 번의 부르심, 그리고 12 제자들로 하여금 “자기와 함께 있게 하심(막3:14)”을 통해, 마가는 예수님이 하나님의 다스리심의 도래를 선포하실 때 그 제자들이 그와 동행할 것(companions)을 일차적으로 요구하신다는 것을 시사하고 있다. 제자들은 먼저 그들의 지도자(선생)와 함께 할 때만이 그들의 부르심에 담긴 두 번째 요소의 필수적 기반을 확보하게 된다. 그 두 번째 요소는 바로 “사람을 낚는 어부(막1:17)”로서, “복음을 전하고 귀신을 내어쫒는 권세를 받아(막3:15)” 하나님의 나라를 선포하는 현장학습이다.
제자들의 현장학습을 위한 플랫폼으로서, 그들이 예수님과 동행하는 동안 예수님께서 제자들에게 보이신 집중적 관심(Jesus’ engagement)에 대해 기술하고 있는 마가복음 이야기의 흐름을 따라 우리들의 검토 작업을 지속할 것이다. 본 장에서 동행(함께 함)으로서의 제자도에 관해 살펴보기 위해 막4:1-34절 본문에 초점을 맞추고자 한다. 예수님이 비유로 가르치신 이 본문은 마가복음을 이해하는데 필수불가결한 본문인 동시에, 성경해석에 있어 지뢰를 담고 있는 본문이다. 본문은 예수님의 사역 초기의 가르침과 비유법을 사용한 가르침을 포함하고 있음에도, 한 가지 비유를 통해 청중들을 향해 반복적으로 가르치심으로 이야기 전개 속도가 급격히 완화된다는 것을 발견한다. |

현재 silicon 기반 transistor의 downscaling은 여러 물리적 한계에 부딪혔다. 그 중 silicon transistor의 operating voltage 문제는 중요한 issue 이다. Transistor density를 향상시키기 위하여 operating voltage의 감소는 필수적이다. 그러나 operating voltage의 감소는 switching speed를 감소시키기 때문에 소자의 성능을 저해한다. 이 문제로 인하여 silicon 기반의 CMOS transistor는 around 1 V 이하로 operating voltage를 낮추기 어렵다.[5] 따라서, 이 문제를 해결하기 전에는 transistor density의 향상은 기대하기 어렵다.
Operating voltage 문제를 해결하기 위한 한가지 해결책은 silicon 보다 월등히 뛰어난 charge carriers travel velocity를 가진 새로운 channel material을 도입하는 것이다.[6] 새로운 channel material 중 가장 주목 받고 있는 것은 III-V compound semiconductor 이다. III-V compound semiconductor 중 뛰어난 electron transport properties를 가진 물질은 GaAs, InGaAs 이다.[6]

Currently, downscaling of the silicon-based transistor is faced with some physical limitations. Among those, operating voltage of the silicon transistor is a critical issue. To improve transistor density indispensably requires reducing the operating voltage. However, the reduced operating voltage can bring down switching speed, for which the performance of the device is impaired. Due to this issue, it is hard to reduce the operating voltage below around 1 V for the silicon-based CMOS transistor.[5] Consequently, it is hardly expected to enhance the transistor density until this issue is fully addressed.
One possible way to resolve the operating voltage problem is to introduce new channel material with charge-carriers-travel velocity a lot higher than silicon.[6] The most attention-drawing one as the potential channel material is the III-V compound semiconductor. GaAs and InGaAs show the most excellent electron transport properties among the III-V compound semiconductor.[6] |
