Jeg vil påstå at den kunne brukes som innledningstekt på universitetsnivå, men den er skrevet slik at den er også lett tilgjenglig for vanlige lesere. An old acquaintance has recently written a book about art history. I would postulate that it could be used as an introductory textbook at university level, but is written in such a way that renders the material accessible to ordinary readers. The book is well illustrated with examples from all the important eras, representing many famous artists.

Forty years working in parallell with health care (as a staff nurse), and also as performing musician and music teacher (including an Honors Degree in Opera Studies). Music makes you passionate about all the arts, and I have in-depth knowledge of pictorial art and also literature. Since early adulthood, I've had what I would describe as a healthy interest in news, politics, and current affairs. A recent field of interest has been astronomy and also philosophy - which seem to meld together at some level!
