Spanish term

marchitez del chile

Spanish to English Science Agriculture Biotechnology
Hola.

Catalina Connon Nov 21, 2005:
Blight and wilt here appear to be synonymous. See this: southern blight (AKA Chile wilt). http://64.233.187.104/search?q=cache:RZJNjIThyaMJ:faq.garden...

chile pepper blight

Hola tocaya!

Creo que seria blight. Mira la definicion:

Any of numerous plant diseases resulting in sudden conspicuous wilting and dying of affected parts, especially young, growing tissues.
The condition or causative agent, such as a bacterium, fungus, or virus, that results in blight.

withered state

Marchitez is a withered state. Blight is añublo or even una plaga.
Chile in this case sounds like it´s a red pepper.
