Nederlands term

gestemd in een interval van een kwart of een kwint

Nederlands naar Engels Overig Muziek
I'm sure this is dead easy for the more musically minded among you. Would it be "authentic" to translate this literally as "tuned in an interval of a fourth or a fifth"? Just slightly concerned that I only get one relevant Google for the phrase "tuned in an interval" and was wondering if I'm missing something.

Text is more African music ditties:

De beide atumpan–trommels, gestemd in een interval van een kwart of een kwint, worden bespeeld met twee hoekige houten stokken.

tuned TO an interval

Get familiar with this! They’re all tuned to an interval of a fourth. Meaning, the low E bass string is four whole steps to the low A bass string ex. ( e,f,g,a,)-(1,2,3,4,).

A few more references:

The erhu is tuned to an interval of a fifth, the inside string (nearest to player) is tuned to D and outside to A. This is the same as the two middle strings of the violin.

Topshur: two-stringed instrument, carved from pine and covered with leather, using strings made from horse-tails and tuned to an interval of a fourth

Sure, since the G and B strings are tuned to an interval of a third. How about fifths and sixths? Well, I can actually use my guitar to demonstrate any interval. Pick a string. Pick a fret. If you can't sound it out, write it out
