Clare Macnamara Feb 5, 2006:
Hi ldd. Ok then, my little madam is definitely ruled out! But as I say below, I think something like "come on now, act your age" would be more appropriate.
ldd (X) (asker) Feb 5, 2006:
Tks girls!
The thing is that in fact the person to whom Im referring is a man.

Act your age!

The Secrets of the Superyoung
... I was so glad to find this book and I found it an absolutely amazing read. I am someone who feels and looks 10 to 15 years younger than what I am and have, at times, suffered **negative comments by "well meaning" friends. ("Act your age" "Stop trying to be a teenager" etc.)**. To read this book and find out it is part of a "phenomenon" was quite comforting! Claro, depende de si las personas son mujeres u hombres.

Mirando bien tu contexto, quizás "act your age" o "don't try to behave like a kid" o algo similar te fuera mejor.

¡Suerte!
