Rentabilitätsberechnung für xyz-Partner - IT-Produkte und -Dienstleistungen
Hallo,
Ich befinde mich in einem Excel-Arbeitsblatt (Rentabilitätsberechnung für Geschäftspartner).
This section sets the expenses for personnel who will focus on xyz business. You can change the yearly salary, the burden rate, and the percentage of time the personnel will be focused on xyz sales or service. For instance, if new to xyz and focusing on transactions only, one might not focus a full time sales and technical person on xyz sales in the first year; you may want to ramp up demand first. To accommodate this, reduce the percentage of time (for sales/technical) in the first year. The corresponding expenses will be decreased. In this section you can also add expense for hardware (it will be **expensed** in the first quarter of each year), or reset the threshold - the amount of sales or service revenue after which the worksheet will automatically add more personnel).
Danke.

In the USA, to expense something is to write it off the taxes without amortizing it, that is, take the tax write off immediately, in the year of purchase.
The tax officials allow you to do that with, say, computers below a certain price. Other items, for example, desks, etc., must be amortized over their expected lifetime.
