The following appears in an Egyptian land purchase agreement, signed in 2006.

I bleive that قائم here does not describe the angle. It means the existence of the "dimensions", that is, they are already there.

I think that the word "قائم" might bear meanings other than "perpendicular" or "availability" or "existence". Perhaps there is another meaning in that jargon, that we might not know yet. I know that right-of road is "حق الطريق" and am expecting a lot of disagreements, but I would like to share views with you guys.
