Może faktycznie chodzić o opakowanie. Czy to "device facilitates" odnosi się konkretnie do tego seal?

A może chodzi po prostu o opakowanie, w którym jest cewnik. Z założenia powinien byc jałowy, a jeśli opakowanie jest uszkodzone, to cewni, nie nadaje sie do uzytku.

jest gdzieś jakieś zdjęcie? Czy on ma balonik uszczelniający, inne uszczelnienie np. pomiędzy cewnikiem a skórą, bo tu chodzi o jakiś rodzaj uszczelnienia, najprościej byłoby go zobaczyć.
