刺儿头 is used to describe someone who is argumentative and hard to deal with. A rabble rouser is someone who stirs up trouble and foments discontent. At the time I thought the meaning was close enough. You might want to consider obnoxious person too. :-)

i wanted to use "muscle" for these, and "rascals ",but these words do not sound like the ones above, they are quiet smooth.
