I would not call this "leave of absence" but rather just "leave"...
If you google both "Hourly leave of absence" and "hourly leave", you'll see that the first isn't at all common.... When I hear "leave of absence" I think of extended time off, usually without pay (unpaid leave).....

As you've no doubt seen for yourself, the expression doesn't appear to be in general use. So I think your best bet is to go for something that sounds natural and fits the definition give.
