Could this term refer to: Terpenic alcohols?

Don't have much context. I'm translating a Sparkling wine tasting wheel and this term comes up under the alcohol heading together with Ethanol, Brandy and Cognac.

I don´t think it is being made clear that we are not talking about the alcoholic strength here, so not high-alcohol wines, but about elements within the wine which are named very similarly!
