Un mitigeur mécanique ou « mono commande » permet à la fois de régler la température et le débit grâce à une seule commande. Cette commande s’utilise : soit seule, il faut alors l’associer à un bec, et/ou une douche et/ou une douchette (maximum deux sorties accompagnées d’un inverseur), soit directement intégrée dans un robinet. on trouve aussi le terme mitigeage mais ici il est clair que c'est en alternative au robinet traditionnel à double commande situé avant la virgule donc il s'agit de l'article, à mon avis plutôt que de l'action
