pasta frola

From the pictures, it seems to me that it's quite the same type of pie.

Some images for "lattice pie": http://images.google.ro/images?q="lattice pie&btnG=Căutare I...

And some for "pasta frola": http://images.google.ro/images?q="pasta frola"&ndsp=18&svnum...

And a couple of references:

Atomic Billboard > Shopping > Food > Ethnic & Regional > Latin ...
Also offers homemade empanadas and astafrola de membrillo (quince lattice pie). www.ethnicfoodsbyangel.com. No Picture. Ethnicfoodsbyangel ...
www.atomicbillboard.com/index.php?cid=1657&pf=BB

or:

http://www.ethnicfoodsbyangel.com/special orders.htm

Homemade Pastries and delicatessens made with traditional's flours, jams and marmalade from the originals countries, same of home made are Empanadas, (Turnovers), pastafrolas, (Lattice Pie)

The spelling differs along the references, but from my searches I've found that "pasta frola" is the correct spelling.

Hope this helps you.
