spout; base of water spout/spray (see explanation) Explanation: T THINK that the "punto de apoyo" may simply be where the water comes out. I'm visualising a fountain where the water spouts upwards (at least to a certain extent) rather than horizontally or downwards, in which case, to a child at least, it would look as though the spout through which the water passes was the "punto de apoyo", ie, it appears to be "supporting" the fountain of water. The effect of lights converging on the spout, or bottom of the fountain of water(not the pedestal) would be very dramatic as the light would have to pass through the spray... -------------- Phew! Is anybody still awake after that...? |

basin / rim Explanation: I'm just giving it shot -- failing a definite word for the space where you can put your hands. Otherwise, I'd put a molded figure on a finial, but that's not a bearing part. |
