Jest tego w ogóle sporo. Wybrałam kilka tekstów, w których występuje to wyrażenie, bo są najbardziej zbliżone do tekstu, który tłumaczę.
W 1949 r. Richard Crossman wydał książkę pt. "The God That Failed" będącej zbiorem sześciu esejów napisanych przez byłych komunistów (pisarzy, dziennikarzy): Fischer, Gide, Koestler, Silone, Spender i Wright. Tematem przewodnim tych esejów jest ich rozczarowanie i odejście od komunizmu.

Bardzo dziękuję. Mnie też Twoja propozycja się podoba. W moim kontekście zdecydowanie nie chodzi o Boga, lecz ideologię, jak zauważa slacker. :-)
