Olá Amy, tem razão, "I make it a point" parece melhor, mas no meu contexto parecia que a outra resposta encaixava melhor. Como já disse, muitas das respostas são excelentes, mas infelizmente só uma pode receber os pontos.

Hi Veronica, although the answer you chose fits all right in the context (as do most of the answers), the only really accurate translate of "faço questão" is, as Ralph said, "I make a point of..."

Você tem total liberdade de escolher a resposta que quiser. Mesmo que não corresponda à sua pergunta, como foi o caso. Você é a responsável por sua tradução. Agora, uma coisa é dizer "eu faço questão de não pagar r euros a mais", outra coisa é dizer "eu simplesmente não pagarei 5 euros a mais". São parecidas, mas não são a mesma coisa.
