French term

matérialiser

French to English Tech/Engineering Transport / Transportation / Shipping
This is an article talking about a trade show in which a logistics company had a stand to demonstrate the workings of the supply chain. "matérialiser" is used in several ways and I'm not sure how to translate it:

Here's the title of the article: "Un parcours thématique pour matérialiser la Supply Chain et les flux à l'honneur au service du développement commercial"

"La logistique globale matérialisée sur 920 m²"

Thanks!

Discussion

Pauline Teale Feb 27, 2008:
Why not just say "demonstrate", as in your explanation. I hate the word "matérialiser" as it always seems so vague when other options would be better.

neutral Steffen Walter : http://www.troubled-diva.com/2001_11_25_troubled-diva_archiv... contains a comment on "tangiblise"./I've come to realise that the language at the quoted site might be offensive. Still, I'd consider "tangiblised" inappropriate.
