Hi León.
Gabe's answer made me doubt and whereas the 'Oxford' is reliable but isn't Gospel, I consulted a Uruguyan friend here, just to be sure. He assured me that it's what we call in Mexico, "talachera"..which is a tire workshop where they repair punctured or damaged tires.

agree  Robert Copeland: Terry, you are correct.... I have heard them called tire repair shops/centers or just tire centers (such as Goodyear/Firestone) where they do a little of everything relating to tires..... It's just personal preference......
