The headline of an article I'm translating from Catalan>English (but I'm translating into Spanish here for purposes of kudoz!!)

"Dali decia que no tenia hombres de confianza ni secretarios en el testamento del 1980"

Hombres de confianza --- I don't know whether to put "right-hand men", "confidants", or what ...
Secretarios --- Secretaries????

I wonder if " A PERSON OF TRUST" will fit in this context. Introduced by the law in 2002 as a person to aid in all aspects of care, and a helper in the decision making of medical treatment. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15611682

I think you've got the 'secretario' part covered here. To me, 'hombres de confianza' are 'men (or people, if you want to be less sexist) he could trust' or 'trustworthy men/people' Good luck!
