Russian term
в догон
Russian to English
Other
Military / Defense
air defense (surface-to-air missiles)
Огневые дивизионы зенитных управляемых ракет сторон, в случаях указанных в пункте а) ведут огонь также в догон.
I get the idea here but all military references to this phrase seem to be for fighter aircraft, e.g. "in pursuit". Is there a SAM-specific term for this? (this is from an air defense agreement for neighboring Warsaw Pact countries)

Comment: "Thanks, Svetlana. I wouldn't have thought that "tail chase" applied to SAMs"
