Another in a list of types of accounts at Sumitomo Mitsui Bank. Others are time deposits, Foreign Currency deposits, Current Checking Account, etc.
Is this some sort of Postage or Correspondence Account? How does it work? How would I translate this into English?

I think "mutual fund" is a commonly used translation of 投信.
