Définition :
Glissement en avant d'une vertèbre par rapport à la vertèbre sous-jacente qui atteint surtout les deux dernières vertèbres lombaires.


Note(s) :
L'origine de ce glissement peut être congénitale, traumatique ou mixte, soit à la fois congénitale et traumatique. L'altération vertébrale se manifeste par une lésion de l'arc postérieur (le plus souvent une lyse isthmique congénitale) et par une détérioration discale.
Le terme « anté-listhésis » est à proscrire dans ce sens, car le préfixe « anté- » se réfère à « antérieur », soit au temps, et le radical « -listhésis », de l'étymon grec « olisthêsis », ne se réfère à rien de significatif en médecine, quand il est employé seul. En effet, il ne fait référence qu'à un seul trait pertinent de la notion, soit celui du glissement. Il ne correspond à aucune notion médicale, s'il n'est pas combiné avec l'autre étymon grec « spondylos » qui se réfère à « vertèbre ».

Explanation:
"il n'y avait pas d'ostéophytose ni masse visible péri-rachidienne, les listhésis étaient les suivants : antélisthésis C3 sur C4 de 6 mm, antélisthésis C4 sur C5 de 3 mm"

Il y a peu de réponses sur internet mais le texte d'où provient cet extrait a visiblement été écrite par un médecin, qui semble savoir ce dont il parle.
