Wasser in den Zulauf entspannen
German to English

Flotation

depressurised
Or the pressure is relieved in the feed/supply/inlet (siehe "unter Druck gelöst und _anschliesend wieder_").

The original is not clearly written. The air is dissolved in the pressurised water and the water later depressurised, allowing the air to escape. Elementary engineering:

Not exactly sure what 'Zulauf' is here, so fill in the blanks (see Ken Cox under 'depressurised'). Also as Ken indicated, the term 'entspannen' refers to the air, not the water. The reference below should make everything precisely clear.
http://www.hoffland.net/src/el/5.xml
Air is dissolved in the treated water by the addition of compressed air to a pressurized stream of recycled effluent. The pressurized water then passes through a pressure relief valve reducing the pressure to atmospheric. This depressurized water is then mixed with the conditioned influent. When the pressure is reduced the super-saturated air begins to precipitate from solution.

: Your reference only confirms my suggestion ('This depressurized water').

Indeed, but I read it as the air being 'entspannt', not the water. It is a bit ambiguously worded though.
