This seems obvious (State Public Administration), but should it really be the State Government? Authorization of the Editorial Board of the State Government No. xxxx?

Tuve una discusión, con una cliente de España, respecto a este tema - la imposibilidad de traducir "administración pública" por "public administration" (por lo menos en el inglés estadounidense). En EE.UU., en el 99% de los casos, donde en español se dice "Administración Pública" (con mayúsculas y todo), en inglés decimos, simplemente, "government."

If you search Google using:
"state public administration" site:gov
which will find all U.S. government (and all state government) sites mentioning the phrase "state public administration," you will find 24 results.

If you search Google using:
"state government" site:gov
you will find 1,290,000 results.

At least in the U.S., "state public administration" is, for all intents and purposes, not used in English; most Americans would have no idea whatsoever what you meant by it. (I realize the situation is different in Europe, and among translators who do not know as much American English as they think they do.)

Alternatively, try searching on:
"state government" site:us
and
"state public administration" site:us

The normal one will give you 822,000 results. The word-for-word translation without regard to what term is actually used in (American) English, on the other hand, will give you 7 results.

So depending on which of these strategies you use, you will find that the use of "state government" is either 50,000 or 100,000 times more common than the use of "state public administration" in the U.S.
