..large number of vehicles...
parque automotor as such would be "car pool", but this is not used in conjunction with a whole country

motor vehicle stock

The term 'housing stock' has been used in the US for a couple of decades to refer to the total of dwellings in the country. I believe that I have also seen 'stock of automobiles.' But the context here refers to motor vehicles generally, including cars, trucks, buses, etc.

I do believe that I have also seen the term \'motor vehicle stock\' used a few times. You might check it on Google.
