In commercial contracts "Abruf" means the possibility for customers to e.g. order once a year a bulk amount of goods to get a good price (calculated to the single price). They can save storage costs as they do not have to store all the ordered goods. And of cause as they do not have to pay the whole bulk, they only pay the amount of the present on-call and such have the advantage of a kind of a customer loan.
