stimulus to sales

I suspect there is a particular term (which I'm afraid don't know) for this, but I think the gist is that of an effect on the sales due to the dispositivo concerned. Probably a domain expert will come in with the exact answer, in the meantime this is my ha'penn'orth (if that's how you spell ha'penn'orth).

"sales driven"

In ordinary financial terms you would say "sales driven" as in "sales were driven by the higher performance of the new patented device", a "sales driven" effect. "If there was no 'sales driven' effect, or in simpler language, "if sales were not increased by the ...."
