This phrase sounds rather odd in Italian, it sort of like makes me think of something translated from the English in the first place... "Cross referencing" sprung to my mind but what the Italian sentence actually means in the first place is anybody's guess. A bit more context - assuming any is available -, as usual would be priceless. All the best.

Sounds about right then, I'd say the Support System needs to cross reference a number of variables and once set-up and tweaked correctly spew out results that would take in consideration the whole picture...

Sorry about lack of context. Can't seem to post a discussion entry. The text relates to a particular hotel chain, which is setting up a new Decision Support System for managing bookings, analysing customer data, etc.
