Italian term

via cavo

Italian to English Tech/Engineering Electronics / Elect Eng
From a list of services provided by an engineering company.
"Dimensionamento via cavo"
I came to the conclusion that this was digital (TV or data) cable but now I have "Disegni vie cavo" and that seems more likely to be "cableways" (the electrical variety - trunking, conduits etc. - not aerial transport).
Any thoughts very welcome.

cableway(s)

I'd say it is either a typo (VIA instead of VIE) or carelessness using the singular form in one item and then the plural in another. Just my opinion though!
