checking slide(s)/plate(s) Explanation: In the absence of an X-ray context, I see no alternative but to fall back on the "plate" definition of "placa," and the only thing I can think of that sounds even half-way close in a blood context is a slide for a blood sample. Slide definition: "a flat piece of glass on which an object is mounted for microscopic examination." |
