Indonesian term

didengungkan

Indonesian to English Social Sciences Government / Politics governance
This is a term that literally means "buzzing," "echo," or "resounding noise." What might be a good English equivalent in this context?

Text is as follows:

Dengan bergabung ke forum itu, kita punya peluang untuk turut menciptakan tata perekonomian dunia yang lebih adil dan seimbang, seperti selalu **didengungkan** oleh pemenang Nobel ekonomi, Joseph E.Stiglitz.

In another sentence, we have:

Tapi perlu dicatat, peluang emas . . . tentu baru bisa diraih jika upaya pemberantasan korupsi yang selalu **didengungkannya** benar-benar ditegakkan.

That would be my choice. It would sound better if it was translated in the active voice, ie ‘trumpeting’.
