Spanish term

Ambiente de tipo familiar

Spanish to English Marketing Marketing
I would like to know what will be the best way to translate this phrase from European Spanish into American English.

Here is the full phrase:

Me entrevistaron todos los supervisores juntos. Me sento como en un ambiente de tipo familiar.

Will be okay to translate as family style?

Team members spend countless hours each week preparing the car for the competition that takes place in May at the Michigan International Speedway.Have you ever wanted to be a part of a tight-knit group of students who is dedicated to being successful?

Family atmosphere

I'd use family atmosphere instead.

"familiar" should not be translated literally in this context, and just means that it is a "relaxed" atmosphere and not as formal as the writer expected.

Casual and cozy setting; "A 'Mi casa- es- tu- casa' setting"

two options: one plays with the idea of 'mi casa es tu casa" (used a lot in US (especially in Southwest area)
