German term
titerstark
German to English
Science
Biology (-tech,-chem,micro-)
Context:
"PRODUKT" ist ein titerstarkes ... Streptavidin-Biotin-System.
Cf. http://tinyurl.com/yzjbow3
Although the reagent we are talking about is mentioned there, there is no mention of titration. It simply states that this is a traditional detection system reformulated for rapid IHC.

or high-titer, probably better. The meaning is that there is a high
concentration or "load" of streptavidin.. in my opinion. Titer, in chemistry is equivalent to concentration. Of course, the implication is that this concentration is determined through a titration process.
This titration process can also be done on biological systems.

: You are right IMO regarding the meaning of titer in this laboratory context, see also: -> http://jco.ascopubs.org/cgi/content/abstract/15/11/3363 (I will add a note in the discussion field .... not enough space here!).

[frz. titre, eigtl.
