I have seen the expressions 'em decisão motivada' and 'mediante decisão motivada', referring to a court ruling.
But what is the English equivalent? This looks like one that should be in a Proz.com glossary, but I haven't been able to find it. Ideas apprecaited.

Have you considered the fact that there might not be an exact term in the American judicial system for "Decisão Motivada" that corresponds exactly to the Brazilian judicial system?

This is very specific, even occurring in the Brazilian constitution as the apparently self-explanatory term 'em decisão motivada'. |
