Tiene que ver, supongo, con el contenido de la portada de una publicación. Por lo que pienso que "sell lines" se refiere al estilo de su marketing. No se ha de vender publicidad que contradiga en forma alguna el aspecto de la portada o que opaque "la imagen o él estilo de marketing.
