the term 'non-neutrale' come from a document on managerial responsibility vs sustainability. This part in particular deals with managerial responsibility as an ethical obligation and the complete sentence is:

I wonder if the sense of approccio non-neutrale is that the manager should be animato da impegno etico.

One idea. We don't have a lot of the surrounding text. Complete sentences usually contain verbs ;-). I was thinking of maybe "partial" as opposed to "impartial" and of course a literal translation "non neutral" is quite clear.

Having read the context (I previously thought it was about insider trading and that thought of thing), I think that "non neutral" is best.

| The problem with this text is that it is a ppt presentation and there is not a great deal of context. Ideas are listed in bullet points but i'll add a bit more context here. The heading is: Sustainability is a managerial ethical obligation. 9 people agreed with this heading concluding that it is: 1) una base valoriale forte 2) un complesso di valori 3) un approccio NON-NEUTRALE 4) un approccio etico Not sure if this sheds any more light on things? However Jim's idea of 'committed' does sound good.It gives me the impression that the manager/managers is/are proactive in their ethical appoach. However non neutral also renders this idea!
