Italian term

diritto

Italian to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s) agreement
i can't understand this sentence (we are talking about the conditions that must be included in a contract).

Tale accordo dovrà prevedere la espressa dichiarazione da parte vostra di rinunciare a qualsivoglia reclamo per nostri (inesistenti) ritardi, con vostra espressa rinuncia sia al diritto che alla conseguente azione sia per penali che per risaricmento danni;

Here's my attempt:
.......renouncing to the right and any consequent action as regards penalties or compensation for damages;

(all these sia, sia, che are confusing me. Also: renounce to the right of what????) Anyone help?

rights

renounces the rights to, or legal action for, penalties or compensation for damages
Note from asker:
I'm so sorry, I liked both answers but thought it would be fair to give the points to the one which arrived first, which was yours. Instead, I mistakenly gave the points to the other answerer:-(

agree Claudia Cherici : i'd say, expressly waives both the enforcement of the right and any subsequent legal proceedings...
