Only a list of various types of lettuce:
my doubt lies with "lattuga cappuccina" with respects to "lattuga cappuccio" - Hoepli gives the translations as ""cappuccina= iceberg" and "cappuccio = cabbage lettuce" - in this list iceberg lettuce is on its own and so the author of the text considers it to be a different variety - please help!

cappuccio/cappuccina
Hm - not sure, but think they're sort of interchangeable - one using the noun, so it doesn't have to agree, the other the adjectival form.
Lattuga CAPPUCCINA
La lattuga cappuccio con cespi di forma tondeggiante, è costituita da foglie grandi, carnose e lisce, che si sovrappongono le une sulle altre, chiudendosi intorno ad un cuore centrale fino a formare il “cappuccio”.

butterhead is the type in growers' terms - they are described, e.g. in supermarkets, as round lettuces.
I think ;-)
