evasion of arrest or(detention) offense

A person who flees from an agent of the judiciary system he knows is an officer attempting lawfully to arrest or detain him.
While his fugitive status continues the active commission of the crime of evading arrest has been completed. It is considered a felony to evade arrest by any means of transportation; car, plane or else.
Tex. Pen. Code, Section 38.04(a)
