Spanish term

Resto interrogado y negado

Spanish to English Medical Medical (general) Clinical summary
Is there a pat English phrase / medical jargon to render this to anyone's knowledge? Something like 'remainder of questionnaire negative'? Context: Sentence in a clinical summary following patient history.

Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): Alvaro Aliaga

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Patient responded negatively to remainder of questions.

I don't know if this is "standard" or "pat," but it would seem to convey the intended meaning.

Suerte.

To me, the word "negado" clearly suggests that there were "negative" responses to "yes/no" questions regarding problematic conditions/operations/circumstances in the person's medical history. This is different from an assertion that a patient's history is "unremarkable," or that "there are no red flags."

agree liz askew : maybe "in the negative"? can't think straight, it's late here...

Rest of history taking/questioning was unremarkable

Stock phrase would be "rest of medical history unremarkable", where your "negado" would be reflected in the term "unremarkable".

Maybe "questioning" should be specifically included.

"nothing of note" is another alternative.

e.g., rest of questions revealed nothing of note

No red flags

There many and several ways to approach CH, as student, many doctors from Veterans, or big hospitals use to end up CH as : ‘No Red flags’ ... are key symptoms and signs that alert the clinician to the possibility of serious disease. To elicit them early is of vital importance to a satisfactory
patient outcome.

Term has been establish as a "common term" mostly in student clinical levels, so you can differentiate (who is not an student any more... :)

There is no logic to state that you did your full work... Old medicine heritage...

Other symptoms and sign denied may sound ok, but what will be the use to let clinicians know that, besides the CH content??

Just an opinion.

You may take a look of Richard Rathe, MD, Medical History Taking Study Guide.

disagree Colin Ryan (X) : This isn't right. This isn't even wrong. // Sorry, thought I was talking to someone else. I should have said: This is too informal for the context.
