Czy słuszne i poprawne będzie tu użycie frazy "znamienne tym, że" i czy połączenie tego z resztą zdania będzie miało sens jeśli przetłumaczę to następująco: "Metody oczyszczania gazów spalinowych są znane i znamienne tym, że używany jest w tym celu karbamid"?
