Personnellement, je garderais 'cloud-computing' qui est le terme exact employé en France.

il est important de réaliser que puisque l'informatique passe "dans le nuage", dans le sens ou les applications et les données ne sont plus locales, mais dans le "cloud", la protection contre les menaces s'effectue dans le nuage également. Pour faire simple, votre antivirus n'est plus installé sur votre PC, mais dans le nuage.

C'est la protection qui est dans le nuage, et non pas les menaces. Dans votre extrait, les menaces sont "web threats". C'est la protection qui est cloud-based.
