This is the suggested translation in the Danish accounting dictionaries for the term "ledelsesberetning", which is the term normally used for this section of the report. It is also the translation used in the translation of Årsregnskabsloven which I have linked to below.

Could this be the standard annual report section called the 'MD&A', i.e. 'Management's Discussion and Analysis'? I know 'beretning' means 'report', but I wonder if, in this case, it refers to the 'discussion and analysis' part of the annual report.

: Yes, it is. The US term is also often translated as "ledelsesberetning" when translating to Danish but I don't know whether there might be a small difference in the requirements and form in the two countries. See also http://tinyurl.com/iasplus
