Votes to reclassify question as PRO/non-PRO:

Non-PRO (1): coolbrowne

When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. If you feel a question marked 'easy' should actually be marked 'pro', and if you have earned more than 20 KudoZ points, you can click the "Vote PRO" button to recommend that change.

How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:

An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)

A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).

Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.

When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.

* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Discussion

liz askew Feb 6, 2011:
Oh well, perhaps some of us know better than others, but to me, and I was the one who contributed with Jorge, the meaning of "conservado" is not easy to ascertain, particulary in this context.

Muriel Vasconcellos Feb 4, 2011:
Scope of "conservado" (PRO, of course. This case is different.) To me, it shouuld be plural because the sentence doesn't make sense unless it refers to both "curso y contenido"; elsewhere there was discussion of 'thought course' and 'thought content'. I just had a thought, and I'm going to post it.
liz askew Feb 4, 2011:
Hi Joseph, this may have been asked many times, however it is not always evident how to translate "conservado"....I had to search myself to find what I thought was the most suitable word, given the context (mental health). Have a good weekend!
Joseph Tein Feb 4, 2011:
Vote PRO I disagree with the non-Pro vote below. This technical (in this context) term is one that an experienced medical translator would know, but a beginner has to learn it somewhere. However ... this term has been asked at LEAST 12 times, by a rough count of questions in this context in the archives. Our asker would have easily found the same answer that Liz has provided by doing a search before posting the question.

unremarkable

My first thought had been 'unremarkable', but then I read some stuff on thought process/content and posted a goofy answer earlier which I have hidden. I'm back to 'unremarkable'. I also thought of 'appropriate', but couldn't find any examples. The most examples are for 'unremarkable'.

Here are some examples of 'unremarkable':
