English term

Sealed / Unsealed

English to French Medical Medical: Instruments Laboratory
These two terms describe the status of a blood sample (tube) when it is processed in the laboratory.
Sealed means that the tube is closed with tape (its cap was removed for reuse). Unsealed = tape is removed.

Could you help me with the French translation?

Many thanks!

Bouché / débouché

Your blood sample put into a tube, covered with a tape, is in a "sealed" status. When you remove your tape, you unsealed it. In French, you've got the possibility to use both "Bouché" or "Fermé hermétiquement" for the word sealed and "Débouché" for the other word unsealed.

neutral silvester55 : Débouché c'est quand on parle de bouchons , or dans le texte il s'agit de "tape"
