This is one stage in an exterior wall insulation system. Grooved polystyrene panels are stuck to the blockwork or concrete substrate and then mechanically secured using these devices, before receiving a skim coat as a base for the decorative finish.
I know what these are - helical pins or drive anchors in stainless or galvanised steel, with a metal or more usually plastic head or washer that covers the corners of 4 panels. Different manufacturers use a variety of terms in English. It is the CT which I am trying to define. Even the EU standard offers no help.
