wat men waarschijnlijk met die zin bedoelt is dat het hart niet vergroot is
Ook de kwalitatieve verandering van de puntstoot komt bij palpatie duidelijk tot uiting; de versterkte puntstoot bij hypertrofie van de linkerkamer is hierbij nog beter dan bij inspectie vast te stellen, en uit zich door een krachtig opheffen over een breed gebied van de palperende vingers; wij spreken dan van een heffende puntstoot
