I suggest you add "the" before "accountants" as I imagine the organization must be referring to its own accountants. If you wish you can ask the client to explain the term. However, it is not ambiguous so it is straightforward for you to translate it "as is". I have translated the audited accounts of an NGO and I noticed that they work within a system of rules to prevent fraud etc. Also, when donations are received but not spent within the same financial year, the accounts are adjusted accordingly and an explanation is given in the auditor's report.
