It is a bit longer, but if the aim is to fill the place. I also agree with a "gourmet" rather than a "glutton" interpretation.

Tah!I was just kiddin'but:Organoleptic is an adjective used to refer to the aspects of food or other substances as experienced by the senses, including taste, sight, smell, and touch . A horrible gobbledegooky word!

This is how I would term it. "per gola" has no equivalent in English so we need to describe the complete idea in our own way. "preference" seems to me what this phrase is about.
