To Polyglot I was wondering whether that was accurate enough; thank you - why not post it an answer?
Russell Jones (asker) Oct 14, 2011:
To Phil A marketing text, which is why I have categorised it as "Marketing". It goes on to say that vegetarians no longer expect to feel discriminated against, hardly relevant I'm afraid. The preceding sentence just names the Enoteca as a champion of vegetarianism.
polyglot45 Oct 14, 2011:
out of pure gluttony

You forgot to post proper context. What is this - a review, a marketing text? What does it say next?

just because it tastes great

It is a bit longer, but if the aim is to fill the place. I also agree with a "gourmet" rather than a "glutton" interpretation.

agree philgoddard : Perfect. Yes, you can't translate "gola" literally.

agree Claudia Cherici : yes. my own idea (then I didn't post it bc I thought was too long) was 'You can go for vegetarian food just because it's mouthwatering'

agree philgoddard : I don't know what organoleptically means, but I like this answer!

Tah!I was just kiddin'but:Organoleptic is an adjective used to refer to the aspects of food or other substances as experienced by the senses, including taste, sight, smell, and touch . A horrible gobbledegooky word!

out of preference/choice

This is how I would term it. "per gola" has no equivalent in English so we need to describe the complete idea in our own way. "preference" seems to me what this phrase is about.
