Pledgets look like little stamps Pledgets are sometimes used to reinforce the tissues when there is concern that the sutures may tear through tissue. They look like little stamps and the guess that this may be Israeli medical slang makes sense.

Ti-Cron sutures without pledgets/unpledgeted Ti-Cron suture

I did a Google search on "Ti-Cron sutures without". The only word that came up in this context was "pledgets". See the search here:

A pledgeted suture is one that is supported by a pledget, that is, a small flat absorbent pad or piece of cloth, in order to protect a wound. This could arguably be described in Hebrew as a בול because of its shape.
There has been at least one study into whether Ti-Cron sutures are equally effective without as with pledgets, so the issue is live with regard to this type of suture. I put it forward as a guess with a more than random chance of being correct and I have given my evidence.

By the way, if you have a look at the URL cited by Ty, you will see that in the table on that page, the third item under "features" states "Variety of pledgets offered".
Note from asker:
Thank you very much Textpertise, your answer actually fits the text perfectly. I suspected some sort of bandage but could not find any support or information.

agree Ty Kendall : I'm inclined to agree, I tried that technique as well...using Google to search for "ticron sutures without", I think my mistake was not hypenating it!

Thanks, Ty. I just could not see בול making sense as coating. Anyway, I'm glad to have chosen the right spelling for the search and come up with an aswer that fits the context.

Uncoated Ticron sutures

"TI•CRON™ braided sutures are available uncoated or coated uniformly with silicone to increase surface lubricity"

The ללא בולים might refer to the lack of silicone, i.e. the uncoated version.

As Textpertise has highlighted....I am not 100% sure, and as such the suggestion, if adopted, should be verified if possible, perhaps by asking the client or by further research which indeed may falsify or verify my suggestion. Good luck.

Thank you Ty
Peer comment(s):

neutral Textpertise : What Ticron sutures are is not the question. Do you have evidence that בול means coating? If not, you are guessing and should only give a confidence level of 2 or at most 3. If yes, please give your evidence.

There's a difference between guessing and deduction. My confidence level is based upon the lack of evidence yet discovered to the contrary. The asker is perfectly entitled to disregard my suggestion despite my confidence level if she wishes.
